Frequently Asked Questions

Coverage for resident stays will vary by individual. Contact your provider in order to verify insurance coverage. Please note that pre-authorizations are not a guarantee of payment and only your insurance carrier is able to make such determinations.
We encourage visitation and ask that you please be respectful of roommates and other residents in the area after normal visiting hours (8 am to around 8 pm). Should you arrive after dark, please ring the bell for staff assistance.
Laundry service is your preference; our staff will be happy to provide laundry services, or you may take your loved one's laundry home and return it once laundered.
Meal time will vary with the needs of our residents and the location of their meal. Food is available to our neighbors at all times, including menu choices available at all meal times.
We encourage you to contact your primary care physician to ensure he or she is associated with our facility since Sunset Villa Care Center does not employ doctors. However, we do have an independent consultant who serves as our Medical Director. Should you require a physician, he or she may act in a separate capacity to provide you with medical services while you are a resident at our facility.
Some physicians do make rounds, but most do not. We will provide you with local transportation to your doctor’s office. Please make an appointment with our transportation specialist.
You are welcome to tour at any time. If you would like a guided tour with specific information for your situation, please contact our Admissions Coordinator for an appointment. Evening and weekend appointments are available.
